EONIC provides fully integrated Radar Electronics Assemblies for Synthetic Aperture Radar systems. Through innovative designs and advanced system integration principles, EONIC provides solutions which are smaller, lighter and more power efficient.
Our Radar Electronic Assemblies address a variety of on-board SAR systems, such as Tactical and Maritime systems and Airborne Imaging GPR systems and other processing-hungry applications. EONIC REAs support Stripmap and Spotlight SAR, Ground and Maritime MTI, and Inverse SAR. We have the experience to support systems which aim for high resolution (smaller than 10 cm) and wide swaths.
EONIC systems are based upon the CompactPCI busstandard, enabling small formfactors. The PowerLINK™ protocol caters for ultra high-speed, yet passive Switch Fabric backplanes, increasing robustness and reducing power consumption. The Pool of Processors is created with TigerSHARC™, enabling a Multi-DSP environment with minimum overhead. For long FFTs we deploy PowerFFT™, an extremely powerful FFT engine which consumes less than 1W of power.
